Hi, I’m Morgan (she/they) and I bring the zest to Lemon & Ginger! I’m a 29 year old HR Tech Consultant, with a passion for people and compelling experiences.

I love to gather great company through food, drink, culture, activities, travel and more. I would unashamedly claim this as a hobby of mine, you cannot beat the memories and the laughter.

I will definitely not claim to be the organised one, but I come with great ideas and love to explore the realm of possibility.

Hey, I’m Katie (she/her) and I bring the warmth to Lemon & Ginger! I’m a 29 year old finance manager from London with a knack for spreadsheets.

I have a love of cooking and baking (any excuse to taste as I go) and I have every intention of making my own wedding cake… so watch this space!

I lose myself in reading fantasy and sci-fi novels, and I am definitely the organised one of the pair of us! I am a dog person, which is a bit of luck because Morgan is definitely my Golden Retriever Fiancé.

And together we are Lemon & Ginger!

As a couple we absolutely love a board game, have completed approximately 10 escape rooms together and escaped from every single one (with a precious gem for Morgan from one of them).

We have a flat full of vibrant colours and lush plants where we love to have a movie night in with cuddles. Our favourite weeknight date is our local pub quiz, closely followed by a London Show. Above all else, we love to share wholesome food with the beautiful souls we are lucky enough to share our lives with.

We fell into the world of same-sex and non-traditional weddings when we started planning our own at the start of 2024. Right from the start, we knew that we wanted to support as many queer or women owned businesses as possible!

Unfortunately, we weren’t too surprised to find that our vision may be a little tricky to pull off. It’s also been interesting to discover that there are lots of vendors that don’t promote themselves as LGBTQ+ inclusive! So far, we are extremely happy with the alternative wedding we are pulling together, but it has taken a fair amount of effort to get here!

So, here we are, sharing our story, hoping to showcase some of the positive experiences that we’ve had and show you that you really can have the bespoke wedding of your dreams!
